After 51 grueling days of hospitalization... I am finally home.

I had my gallbladder out on monday, and am still recovering from the surgery.

But I am eating again, after 52 days without having put anything in my mouth (including WATER) I can finally be normal again.

Now we're just struggling to get the bills together to be submitted to medicaid. My whole trip is costing somewhere between $150-$200,000, and my insurance is covering like, $2000. WOO. *explosion*

But damn is it good to be home, and finally feeling kind of normalish. I'm still quite sore and I'm running out of percocets!! D:

I get to go back to work at the end of the month.

Omigosh I'm so happy you're home and feeling better and eating again!!! <3333 That totally blows your insurance isn't covering more of your trip though. What lameasses D< *rolls up her sleeves to give them a good beating*

At least I'm getting aid through the state, and it should cover, if not all, than most of it. Phew.

I guess I should get on furc some now that I'm up and about, huh?

Well that's good! That's way too much money to have to try to work to pay off D;

B'aw, good to hear that you're so much better. I can't believe the extent of medical bills in the US. In the AU we have all ours covered, but surgery is a massive waiting list. I waited a year to get told I have to lose x amount of weight in a small period of time otherwise the picky surgeon I was referred to wont operate on me. Gallbladder pain is apparently worse than giving birth. So hey, one thing will be easier later on in life! 8D

Thank you for all the support and kind words.

It means alot to me, how supportive everyone has been.

And yes, I thought I was dying when I was in pain, and I was on the highest dose of 2 extreme narcotic pain meds, and I was still in excruciating pain at first. So remember kids, don't ignore abdominal pain!

I am going to have to have my gallbladder taken out next Friday.. did they just put 4 holes in your stomach or open you up.. did it hurt? I wanna know what I am in for.. xD
